Nearly 400,000 Minnesotans will lose their Medicare Advantage plan for 2027
Published

Minnesota's attorney general says about a third of the state's 1.2 million Medicare Advantage members will lose their current plan as Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare and HealthPartners cut back. Fifteen counties will have no Medicare Advantage plans next year (Medicare Cost plans and Original Medicare remain), and three will have only Original Medicare. Few people will be moved automatically, so compare plans and confirm your doctors and pharmacy before Dec. 7.
