GSK's Hibsago (bepirovirsen) is a shot given for up to 24 weeks alongside standard antiviral pills for certain adults with chronic hepatitis B and no cirrhosis. In two large trials, 19% of patients reached a functional cure, compared with none on placebo, and about 1 in 4 met criteria to stop their antivirals. Ask your liver specialist whether you're a candidate.
